Growing up I was taught that the most important and exciting day of the week was Sunday. That was the day that we were privileged to go to the House of the Lord and meet with God and His people. In this generation, it is evident that things have changed and priorities have shifted. I find it no coincidence that over the last 5 years or so, as church attendance and commitment has declined, we have also experienced national recession and economic issues.

The transition into 2012 is one of the most exciting entries into a New Year that I can remember in a long time. 2011 was defining but often-destructive leaving tracks of its truest meaning. 11 being a number of disorder and anti – government.
Immanuel: God With Us
There is this perpetual thought that stands at the summit of the stable where Christ was born. It is the fascination of the soul that creates faith. The thought of prophecy fulfilled! God’s pre-ordained plan and the promise of His presence causes a stir from the fields of the Shepherds to the hearts of the Magi.
The Gift
There is an instance fabricated strategically by the hand of God and perfectly placed in time that we refer to as Christmas. It is more than a mere a holiday, it is a God ordained event to teach us the manifold wisdom of God. It causes inspiration and it calls for insight. It demands the world’s attention and expects the Christian celebration. When God sets a thing in motion, there is neither a wall of opposition nor any wave of scrutiny that can slow it down.
