I Won’t Hold Back

Scripture:
Isaiah 58:9-11 - “If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness, If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday. The LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, ad like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.”
Synopsis:
The world is in a financial crisis and the empire of dead religion is crumbling. It is the perfect storm that has created the perfect time for the real church to make progress at expanding the true kingdom of God. But if we in the Body of Christ do not recognize the times and take full advantage of this historical moment to create spiritual momentum, the window of opportunity for us to make a difference in our generation will close with us having done nothing. We must lay aside our dogma and religious differences and declare with one voice, “I won’t hold back.”
In this hour the world is waiting for believers to activate the Great Commission and stop propping up religion. We have misrepresented God long enough and He is taking drastic steps to get us back on track so we can finally get His work done right. Jesus Christ in Luke 4: 16 proclaimed freedom and liberty from sin and the religious traditions and opinions of man. Therefore we can no longer be satisfied with the religious modes and methods of our past. We can no longer claim to set the captive free from a life of sin only to enslave them in the chains of religious bondage. Its time our churches became genuine cities of refuge for the lost, the broken, the oppressed, wounded and the deceived. Just like God told Samuel to stop mourning over Saul, He is telling His church to stop mourning over our crumbling religious traditions, “fill our horns with oil and be on our way.”
This is not only a collective mandate for the Body of Christ as a whole, but for each of us as individuals. We must let go of our past offenses, disappointments and failures and purpose to take advantage of these troubling times we live in by take responsibility to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. We must take action doing whatever it takes to change the lives of the lost one relationship at a time. If we do, God promises to pour out His favor. So this is not a time for holding back.
